| Anna's uses only 100% real fresh cream and 100% real butter
cream in our icings. We do not add any filler or chemical stabilizers or emulsifiers in
ANY of our products. It is that simple. Many bakeries add chemical products like
whippee to their creams to give extra volume to lower costs as well as to make their
creams more stable and shiny at the cost of texture. Most chemical stabilizers leave a
film on the roof of your mouth or a slimy after-taste.
We bake all of our sponge cake each morning which allows us to take very large orders
at the last minute. We can do cake for up to 2,000 servings if we are notified before
10AM. Examples of rush orders are for damaged or forgotten wedding cakes or even for
corporate orders. We filled a 5 cake - 800 serving order for the 2010 Olympic Bid.
Vancouver's win was announced shortly after 8:30AM. We received a rush order at 9:20 and
the cakes were ready for pick up by 12:15.
When it comes to decorations, Anna's uses only real fresh fruit, edible cake images or
licensed images for kids' cakes.
For our new customers we would recommend our Fresh Fruit Cakes, Napoleon, Chocolate
Mousse, Tiramisu or Mango.
We also entertain wholesale and standing orders for monthly office birthdays.
